My holiday !

These holidays I have been watching T.V. my favourite show was big time rush and my favourite song on big time rush was Worldwide because I love singing to it. The other thing I have been doing these holidays is feeding Calves with mum. The Calf  that I like most has a sore leg and it limps all around and the last thing I liked was finally getting to watch the Avengers and Hunger games and keeping up with the All Blacks.So here is a big time rush song it is called till I forget about you

Eye of the tiger

This year for production room 10 my class are singing a song called The eye of the tiger, this is a song that became famous in the eighty's and is  on a movie Rockie so Miss Brown chose this for our song.

Term 3 reflection.

Something I am proud of is: My E-asTTle reading result because this time I got a 4A and last time I got a 3P.
Something I still need to work on is: My 2 minute basic facts test because I've been stuck on 6 times tables for 3 weeks.
Reading goal:To answering questions in my groups,I can achieve this by thinking about what we have just read and if I can't I have to look back in the book to find the answer.
writing: Use correct punctuation in my story, I can achieve this by looking back in the story to find where punctuation 
Math: Work on my 6 times tables for Thursdays test, I can achieve this by adding maths games to my blog and practise for Thursday. So I can master it and get on to number crunchers and get a lolly each week. I also need to work on some problems about turning decimals into fractions like 0.20= ? I can achieve this by asking the teacher if she could give me a sheet and let me practise and her if she can help me with my fractions .But what i'm proud of is getting 100%in my test last week.

year 7 camp Tautoku

 

In about 2 weeks the year 7's from Winton school are going to camp in the Catlins the camp is called Toutoku and I get to go. At camp we are going to have a bombfire awesome activities great fun and talented voices e.g. Miss Brown and me i'm singing paralyzedor rule the world & the band is Big Time Rush so here's avidio of them singing it

Central cup

On wednesday 15th August 2012 Winton schools year 5-8 and some year 4's took part in Central cup. Centrel cup is when diffrent schools meat up to play a sport the sports were soccer , rugby, netball or hockey , the schools were Hillside, St thomases, Drummond,Hedonbush,Winton and lochial. This day was about having fun and working as a team but my team in soccer lost every game we played and I got winded when Andrew kicked the ball into my cheast, at least I got back on at the end of the half and Igot some jelly beans. And at the end of the day I bowled someone bigger than me over and I also wasn't winded.

Olympic 2012 result

So far at these Olympics the Black sticks have won their first game over Australia 1-0,Hamish   Bond &  Eric Murry won their heat and semi final and won gold in their final, Nathan Cowen & Joseph Sullivan won gold in the double skulls Mahe Drysdale won gold in his race of the single skulls and Rebeca Scown & her partner won bronze,2 of our track cycling teams won bronze & also our Equestrian team . Reading             Alison Shanks competing at Deli 2010

In room 10 for reading we have been continuing with our Olympic topic.Yesterday we chose a athlete to follow and now we have to write a profile on the. I chose my athlete and I chose Alison Shanks who won gold at Deli in 2010   and is   competing at the 2012 Olympic games in London this year.

Speeches !

In room 10 we are working on speeches , our speeches have to be persuasive so you can be for or against something. My speech will be on why Otago's the best holiday place . Miss Brown has given us some great ideas e.g. why southland's the best province to live and she is teaching us how to use  humour and expression .
